Internal Investigations
The YLG conducts internal investigations on behalf of corporations and advises corporate and individual clients on a variety of regulatory matters. The YLG has tried cases in federal and state courts, including the successful defense of a client accused of federal fraud, racketeering, extortion, and bribery violations in a multiple defendant jury trial in federal court.
International Litigation Experience
The YLG has experience in international litigation matters including assisting clients with procuring documents and witness testimony from foreign persons or entities located outside the United States and representing a corporate client in a lawsuit against a foreign company seeking immunity under Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act.
FCPA & OFAC Experience
The YLG has also represented a corporate client in a civil action to enforce a domestic judgment against a foreign entity and advises corporate clients on a host of compliance and due diligence issues arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations, and other trade compliance regulations.
